California has been considered a “Blue” State for many years due to a majority of Democrat Party election wins and a heavy concentration of Democrat State and local office holders.
However, analysis of the 2022 California General Election indicates, if only 75% of Republican Registered Voters and 50% of “No Party Preference” and “American Independent” Registered Voters turned-out and voted Republican, there would be a Republican Governor. In addition, 49 out of 80 California Assembly Districts would be Republican and Republicans would be in control of the California State Senate.
